Cold Water Therapy

Cold water therapy has gained popularity recently due to its many amazing benefits, both on the physical body and mind.

Frequent exposure to cold water is linked to a number of different health benefits, for example there is scientific evidence that it speeds up metabolism. Another benefit of exposing your body to cold is that it reduces inflammation, swelling and sore muscles. Other benefits include improved sleep quality, more focus and even an improved immune response. it also helps to relieve stress and anxiety.

You can start cold water therapy by taking cold showers at home on a daily basis, gradually building up your tolerance to the cold temperature. You will begin to notice the amazing feeling of energy and vitality afterwards, as the production of “feel good” hormones are released into your body, which lasts the whole day. The cold exposure will also help to boost your cardio vascular and nervous system, re-setting your body into its natural relaxed state.

When combined with conscious Breathwork, cold water exposure will have a long lasting positive effect on your overall physical health and mental wellbeing.

You can start this amazing therapy from the comfort of your home by taking daily cold showers, or if you would like to take the experience even further, you can take this therapy outside and connect with nature by swimming or dipping in natural lakes, rivers or even in the sea.

Cold Water Therapy Sessions:

If you would like to experience cold water exposure in a natural outdoor setting, I offer bespoke 1:1 Breathwork and Cold Water Therapy sessions on the beach at my home in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

I will help and guide you with some conscious breathwork and physical warm-up exercises to help prepare you for your exposure to the cold sea water. When you feel ready I will support you and your experience in the cold water, guiding you with some strategic breathwork so that your body can adjust to the cold temperatures and start to relax in this environment.
